Differential pressure (dP) transmitters are precision instruments designed to measure the high and low pressure signals generated by a dP flow meter and convert them into a standardized 4–20 mA signal. This signal can be read directly as differential pressure or, with square root extraction enabled, expressed as flow rate.

Compared to other flow measurement accessories, dP transmitters deliver a versatile, highly accurate solution that supports a broad range of fluid applications including water, wastewater, air, steam, oil, viscous liquids, and gases.
