Venturi-MXR for Reliable, Efficient Fluid Handling

The PFS Venturi-MXR is a proven solution for tank mixing, agitation, and fluid conditioning. Using the Venturi effect—based on the Bernoulli principle—the system leverages fluid velocity and pressure differentials to entrain and circulate tank contents without moving parts inside the vessel.

Venturi Mixer Capabilities

Venturi-MXR systems are engineered to solve a wide range of process challenges:

How the Venturi-MXR Works

The Venturi-MXR uses motive energy—recirculated fluid, secondary fluid, steam, or gas—introduced through a specially engineered nozzle. As the motive accelerates through the Venturi throat, it entrains a calculated volume of surrounding liquid and discharges as a high-momentum jet.

This discharge jet performs the mixing work inside the tank, achieving goals such as solids suspension, fluid blending, temperature control, or liquid de-stratification.

Low-Shear Mixing

Safe for sensitive compounds, live cell cultures, enzymes, and complex chemical processes, increasing process viability.


High Turnover Efficiency

Moves up to five times the pumped volume for accelerated tank turnover.


Improved Aeration & Heating
